Past Adjustments

In the 80’s and 90’s, DISA made voluntary adjustments to the pensioners. These adjustments were initiated by DISA and appropriate funds contributed to the Pension Fund to cover the actuarial needs. Since then, the Company has chosen not to pursue this route, arguing about the cost and pointing out that the original adjustments were voluntary and did not constitute a pattern or commitment. We submitted official communications sent at the time these adjustments were granted to a specialised lawyer to determine if there would be ground for suing the company. The opinion obtained indicated a low probability of success.
