• The team is a group of concerned individuals aiming to understand the issues about DISA pensions and to maintain a presence with DISA management to keep communications going both ways with the purpose of conveying thoughts and concerns of the retiree community. It does not act as a formal representative of the pensioners as an association structure does not exist and the members are not elected.
• The goals of the team is to remind DISA management of its obligations, mainly to maintain the health of the fund, but also of implied past policies and the continual degrading of purchasing power undermined by inflation but also by the constant increase of health insurance costs.
• The team also enjoy early access to Pension Fund results and use this fact to ensure that the health of the fund is continued but also to watch for early signs of goals being met and thus the possibility for some form of adjustments to be considered.
